Oelwein Middle School
Dear Oelwein Students and Families,
It is with great excitement that I write this as the new principal of Oelwein Middle School. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the students and staff at OMS and to partner with the families and community to continue pushing forward in achievement. Already I can tell there's great pride in Oelwein Schools and a tradition that I intend to continue while building upon.
Our mission is to do Whatever it takes to educate ALL students. We will achieve this goal by:
- Providing students with a safe, nurturing, and engaged learning environment.
- Creating and maintaining strong school-family-community partnerships.
- Meeting the individual wellness, social, and emotional needs of all students.
- Providing positive support, teaching resilience, health, and leadership skills.
- Encourage and grow opportunities for students to participate in activities inside and outside of the classroom.
