Welcome to the Oelwein Online Counseling page. I am so happy you're here!
According to the American School Counselors Association (ASCA), "School counselors are certified/licensed educators who improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program." I am eager to work with students to assist them with academic and career success while supporting their social and emotional health.
Navigating online learning is new for many of us and can come with a variety of challenges. I am available to work with all Oelwein Online students with a multitude of tasks, including class registration/intakes, academic concerns, college/career planning, questions about their learning platforms (Zoom, Edgenuity, Canvas), and much more. I am also available to students to guide them through their social and emotional needs either via Zoom appointment, phone call, or email.
