Oelwein CSD to Hold First FY27 Budget Public Hearing March 23

The Oelwein Community School District will hold the first of two public hearings on the district’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

The hearing will take place at the Oelwein CSD Central Office, located at 307 8th Avenue SE in Oelwein.

The proposed budget covers Fiscal Year 2027, which begins July 1, 2026. This hearing will provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed budget and offer comments or feedback before the budget is finalized.

A second public hearing is currently scheduled for April 27, prior to final approval of the budget.
