school improvement advisory committee
The Oelwein Community School District has an advisory committee that meets twice annually. This committee, called SIAC, meets in the fall to provide input on the strengths of the school district and suggestions for improvement. The second meeting, usually held in the late spring, is a time for representatives of the school district to report progress towards the school district goal, share the important data about student achievement, and discuss progress on areas identified for improvement. The School Improvement Advisory Committee consists of parents and community members.
Please contact the office form more information and upcoming meeting dates.
