Attention 8th Grade Families – A note from the Counselor

Current parents and students of class of 2026

    We are preparing for 9th grade registration!  I have started working with some 8th graders on preparation for HS at OHS as well as registration through our new district program called XELLO!  I will be meeting with ALL 8th graders at OMS on March 9th to learn more about the registration process, high school classes they can take while in high school, and introducing them to the HS counselors.  Part of the registration requirement is to sign a paper that each 8th grader will be bringing home after the 9th of March.  PLEASE ask your child about this paper and look it over, sign it, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at OMS (319-283-3015, #3).  The goal is for all 8th graders to have their registrations completed by March 15th!  Thank you all for your support and cooperation with this exciting time for our 8th graders!
